English Springer Spaniel Rescue of Long Island
The English Springer Spaniel Club of Long Island was founded more than 30 years ago; its Rescue program was started in 1988. We are a group of unpaid volunteers from Maine to Pennsylvania. Every year our organization places approximately 100 abused, abandoned or unwanted Springers into new homes. Some of these purebred dogs come to us through local shelters; some come to us due to the death of a former owner, divorce, a new baby, move to a new house, small apartment, etc.
